Thane Ritchie began his present endeavors after a series of diverse roles in the commodities and options markets. As founder and head of Ritchie Capital Markets in the 1990s, Thane built upon lessons gained while working at the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. An athlete as well, Thane Ritchie played tight end for the pre-season Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers teams in the late 80s and early 90s. He later spent a brief period on the USA Men’s Bobsled National Team. Mr. Ritchie attended Duke University and Wheaton College in Illinois, where he was inducted into the Thunder Hall of Fame in 2007.
